NAWM
The National Association of Wetland Managers is a nonprofit membership organization established in 1983 to promote and enhance protection and management of wetland resources, to promote application of sound science to wetland management efforts and to provide training and education for our members and the public. Membership is open to anyone who is involved with wetland resources.
NAWM identifies one or two important wetland topics to write about in each issue of Wetland News. These can be program, policy, science or legal issues. Topics such as marsh dieback, wetlands and natural hazards, wetland mapping, climate change, opportunities for local government, revisions to federal or state policies, and special wetland places are examples of a few of the topics that might be covered. Articles should be 1,000 words or less and should provide links to websites and/or other places readers can refer to get more detailed information.

NAWM is always looking for wetland photos from different areas of the country. If you would like to share a photo(s) to feature in Wetland News please fill out the photo form.
Insider’s Edition. Members receive a weekly bulletin with wetland-related news. Insider’s Edition includes special announcements on upcoming webinars and updates to new webpages, as well as the latest postings on the Wetlands Job board. Members are welcome to submit wetland-related job notices. NAWM keeps members informed of any special opportunities or critical legislative news through this weekly update.

The Association’s membership newsletter, Wetland News, has been published for over 40 years. The publication includes Association News, with analyses of important developing topics in wetland policy, management and science. Each issue features an original report or publication of interest to wetland and natural resource management professionals. This publication is an invaluable resource to members, who may not otherwise have access to wetland-specific findings or information that is not published elsewhere. Members receive by-monthly issues and have access to archived editions. Submissions are welcome.

Publications
The Association conducts research and publishes reports, guidebooks, news articles, brochures, white papers, and summaries of findings of symposia and workshops. These are available electronically to all interested individuals and organizations.
